A graduate of Beilinson’s Nursing School (1982) with Bachelor’s Degree (1987), Ms. Leibovich have a rich professional career as an academic nurse, in Intensive-care, Nephrology, Ophthalmology, Gynecology and Allergy/ Immunology. She obtained Master’s Degree in Nursing (Cum Laude), and is currently working on her PhD thesis, focusing on the premonitory signs and symptoms of Hereditary Angioedema attacks (“Prodromes”).

She has a list of publications in the field of HAE, actively participated in international conferences and writing of international guidelines.

She served in the past as the chairperson of the Israeli Allergy & Immunology Nursing Association, and helped to develop educational programs in the field. She is was also assisting in the designing and conducting clinical studies at the Office of Nursing Management at the Sheba Medical Center.

She is currently the head of Research and Innovation at the Head-nursing Department of Barzilai Medical Center, Ashkelon ISRAEL.

Additionally, as a Senior Study-Nurse, she is involved in many clinical studies in Angioedema and Asthma in the last 14 years. She is assisting and consulting HAE patients in self-management of the disease, family matters and quality of life issues. She has developed educational programs for nursing in HAE in Israel, and is an active member of the International HAE Nursing Organization (IHNO). Recently she initiated a new IHNO internet website and serving as a webmaster.
